PROJECTS

Volcanic young people

The Volcanic Youth project wants to leave oral expression in the background and focus on the language of the body, so that secondary school students explore new channels of perception that allow them to relate and coordinate themselves to achieve a common goal: to carry out collective artistic creation.

Volcanic Youth is made up of four quarterly interdisciplinary artistic proposals in which each group of students carries out a creative process in order to express their common concerns. These proposals are: Body and Architecture, Body and Plastic Arts, Body and Word, Body and Participatory Show .

The various creative processes are accompanied by the teachers of the school with the support of the artistic educators of Rius de Moviment, who also facilitate a series of meetings with the teaching staff in order to coordinate and follow up the artistic and emotional aspects of the students’ collective creations.

Body trip

Three days of experiences through the body: movement, dance and Yoga workshops. Nature and activities related to the local environment. Life in common in a small group.

We propose an experience where the body and nature are the protagonists. Through the movement and Yoga workshops, shared with a small group of participants, we will explore the physical, emotional and creative potential of the body.

Starting from the recognition of the diversity of bodies, we propose different dynamics to create a climate of trust where all people can feel free to experiment. The body dimension becomes a ground where spontaneity, intuition and awareness are activated and transformed into tools of creation.

Bodies in action

The proposal is based on a set of body dynamics that challenge participants to respond creatively and as a group. Focusing on the language of the body and leaving the word in the background, participants explore new channels of perception that allow them to relate and coordinate towards a common goal.

Dance History

This proposal is based on a series of workshops aimed at deepening the knowledge of the History of Dance from the 19th and 20th centuries in a experiential way. Through the use of games, teamwork and body practice, participants reflect on and, above all, experiment the various dance styles that have left their mark throughout the past two centuries.
