WHAT WE DO?
Rivers of Movement designs and delivers socio-educational action projects based on the arts of movement that foster creative group processes with the aim to generate spaces of good fellowship, creation and transformation.
We position ourselves in the field of the arts of movement with its plural, hybrid and dynamic nature. We understand dance as an infinite universe of possibilities in constant dialogue with other scenic languages such as theatre, circus and performance.

Starting by recognizing the diversity of people's bodies, we make proposals to create a climate of trust where participants can feel free to experiment without judging. Listening to the needs and desires of our bodies lets us expand self-perception, making us more aware and willing to change. The subsequent sharing of personal experiences leads to a creative process that culminates in the joint expression of collective feelings and aspirations.
We always prioritize the process of exploration rather than the artistic result, understanding that this is part of a journey that continues once the project has finished. Therefore, the form of the artistic final piece is original and unique in each case, the result of the uniqueness of each member at that moment and the creative potential of the group.
As an association, we work with children and young people, families, women, seniors, people with functional diversity, professional teams and other specific groups. We offer projects with different artistic formats, tailor-made to the needs and particular concerns of each group and context in order to allow participants to feel the project as their own. The duration of the projects is variable, with an option for an intensive format or a regular one (monthly, quarterly, or annual).
